SUMMARY:
This role is a member of a special education team that will work in a public school building providing speech therapy to students who access special education services. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) will work under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) to assist in the carryover and implementation of treatment programs, and care of individuals with communication disorders. The primary role of an SLPA is to support speech-language pathologists in their work, implementing therapy plans and carrying out specific tasks that help patients improve their speech, language, and functional communication.. This role offers opportunity for leadership and collaboration across disciplines in order to best support students.

Pay Range: $30 - $35 per hour

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises students during therapy sessions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
