Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support a school in the Irving area for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, school-based role offers a consistent schedule, a collaborative environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development.


About the Role

As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help deliver therapy services to students. You'll play an important role in supporting communication skills such as articulation, language development, and social communication.


Schedule & Work Environment

  • Monday–Friday school schedule
  • No evenings or weekends
  • School holidays and breaks off
  • Supportive, team-oriented setting

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing speech-language therapy plans under SLP supervision
  • Work with students on articulation, language, and communication goals
  • Prepare therapy materials and track student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with school guidelines

Qualifications

  • Active Texas SLPA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
