About the Role

HiredFirst is seeking an experienced and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a respected Skilled Nursing Facility in San Francisco, CA.
You’ll work alongside an interdisciplinary therapy team providing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing therapy to adult and geriatric patients in a supportive post-acute environment.

This position is ideal for a clinician who values teamwork, professional growth, and meaningful patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders

• Implement therapy programs focused on restoring and maintaining communication and swallowing function

• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians for coordinated care

• Document treatments and progress in EMR per facility and state guidelines

• Educate patients, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies

Requirements

• Active California SLP license

• Current BLS Certification (AHA-approved)

• SNF or post-acute rehab experience preferred (CFY or new grads welcome)

• Excellent communication and clinical documentation skills

Compensation & Benefits
