Position Summary:
The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supports the delivery of speech and language services to students under the direct and ongoing supervision of a certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This position also works under the general direction of the Director of Educational Services. The SLPA assists in implementing IEP-related services and activities for students, in accordance with Connecticut State Department of Education guidelines and district practices.
General:
This position provides an opportunity to support elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant within Hebron Public Schools. Working with an elementary caseload, this onsite role in Hebron is ideal for individuals committed to supporting student communication development in a school-based setting. Working in close partnership with the district's Speech-Language Pathologists, the SLPA supports students expressive, receptive, and articulation development.
