Our CBS clinics in Laguna Hills and Seal Beach specialize in Vestibular and Balance Rehabilitation.  We see vertigo, dizziness, concussion, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, stroke, and other neurological disorders.

About the Role

As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to patients in the Neurologic populations, helping them improve their quality of life and independence. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to delivering personalized and effective therapy programs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals for the Neurologic and Voice populations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Implement and administer therapeutic interventions to improve function and independence based on each individual patient's needs.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic procedures, home exercise programs and compensatory techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Stay updated on advancements in Speech and Language Pathology techniques, technologies, and best practices, integrating them into clinical practice as appropriate.
• Meet the needs of having patient execute plan of care including but not limited to following up with patients if noncompliance occurs.
• Be a team player to utilize nonclinical staff to support needs of the caseload.
• Be an active participant in helping to drive a collaborative culture based on our service vision.
• Adapt to change in patient schedules and daily patterns.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to determine patients' therapy needs and establish treatment goals for the Neurologic and Voice populations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific conditions and limitations for Neurologic and Voice populations.
• Administer therapeutic interventions to improve function, recovery, and independence based on each individual patient's needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, providing education and support throughout the rehab process.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist
• Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited program
• CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations
• Strong clinical skills with experience in Neurologic and Geriatric populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes
