Full Time Day shift

Roles and Responsibilities

Performs speech pathology services including diagnostic evaluations to determine level of impairment. After administering the appropriate tests and measures a treatment plan is designed for improved communication and swallowing. Performs direct patient care services including the supervision of support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care education and department operations.

Requires a Masters Degree from an accredited academic program in speech pathology or if foreign trained graduation from a speech pathology education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.

Requires current license in the State of Indiana.

Requires a certificate of clinical competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association ASHA or eligibility for this certificate.

Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

Advanced life support certifications may be required per unitdepartment specialty according to patient care policies.
