Responsibilities
Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders via standardized tests.
Develop individualized treatment plans aligned to patient goals and evidence-based practices.
Implement therapy sessions and monitor progress using measurable outcomes.
Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in patient records.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and referrals.
Set and track individual and clinic-wide performance metrics and pipelines.
Engage in ongoing professional development and pursue advancement opportunities.
Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support communication goals at home.
Participate in scheduling and pipeline management to optimize case load and outcomes.
Maintain on-site clinic operations, equipment, and clinical safety standards.
Advocate for clients to ensure access to services and referrals when needed.
Represent the clinic in community outreach to grow patient base and reputation.
Experience/Qualifications
Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
California SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain license
Experience with pediatric and/or adult speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders
Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized assessment tools
Ability to develop and implement evidence-based, client-centered treatment plans
Ability to meet targets, manage pipelines, and demonstrate productivity
Clinical safety and compliance awareness, including HIPAA guidelines
Strong documentation skills: progress notes, treatment outcomes, and IEPs/IFSPs as applicable
Experience in progress monitoring with measurable outcomes and data-driven adjustments
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and care coordination
Commitment to ongoing professional development and career advancement
On-site clinic operations expertise: scheduling, safety, equipment maintenance
Strong communication skills for educating families and caregivers
Experience in community outreach and patient acquisition activities
