    Description

     We are seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathologists to join our dynamic team in Houston, TX, to help patients achieve their communication and swallowing goals in a supportive and collaborative environment.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of varying ages and backgrounds.

    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient.

    • Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to address patient goals.

    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and caregivers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    • Provide education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and progress.

    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

    • Stay current with advancements in the field through continued education and training.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

    • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain licensure).

    • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.

    • Strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

     

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience in working with pediatric, adult, or geriatric populations (based on the setting).

    • Experience in skilled nursing, outpatient clinics, schools, or hospitals is a plus.
