Job Summary: Provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification, and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience: • Masters Degree: Required • Two years speech language pathology experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications: • Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI-BLS) certification: Required • American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred

Essential Functions: • Reviews patient information before evaluations and during the course of treatment. • Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments. • Assists in data collection of patient outcomes. • Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts. • Supervises assistants and support staff. • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Shift: 8 hours, Per Diem, Day shift
