Webster Public School is seeking a Speech/Language Pathology Assistant to provide services to students with disabilities under the direction and supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Implement therapeutic programs and treatments within the instruction and guidelines established by the SLP
- Assist individual and small groups of students through instructional activities designed to remediate the identified communication disability
- Participate in IEP Team meetings as requested
- Assist with creating goals/objectives with SLP
- Collect and organize data and information on student needs and progress
- Report on students'' progress
- Communicate with parents, teachers and other other specialists (OT/PT)
- Participate in professional development opportunities
- Perform any other related task or duty at the direction of the building principal, supervisor of special education or designee
