Speech Therapist - Leave Replacement Position

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Valid NJDOE as a Speech-Language Specialist or other appropriate NJDOE certification required.

2. Demonstrated knowledge of effective instructional practices, student supports, curriculum, assessment, and classroom management.

3. Ability to develop and implement appropriate lesson plans, programs, services, and supports aligned with student needs and applicable standards.

4. Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, families, administration, and related service providers.

5. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

6. Knowledge of special education procedures, IEP implementation, student intervention supports, and/or related services preferred, as applicable to the position.

7. Ability to work effectively with students, staff, families, administration, and the school community.

8. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

9. Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70).
