Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to support patient progress.
- Document therapy sessions and patient progress accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families about strategies and techniques to improve communication and swallowing abilities.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements
- Valid state license or certification to practice as a Speech Therapist.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Proven experience in speech therapy within a home care or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.
