Position Summary Assess, diagnose, and provide speech therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Classroom/Campus The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. There is minimal exposure to environmental conditions such as outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, etc. Travel throughout the district is integral to this job.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Classroom/Campus When performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, communicate verbally and electronically, stand, move throughout the building, use objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl, climb, balance, and drive. Occasionally required to lift or exert force of up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasionally required to work prolonged and irregular hours.
