Compensation

Pay Range: $45.90 - $51.20 per hour, depending on prior experience.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a master’s degree in Speech Pathology, along with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or equivalent experience of at least one year working with adults and children with neurological disorders, including issues related to language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
  • A valid Speech Pathology license in the state (if applicable) or actively gaining the necessary supervisory experience for licensure.
  • Registration with the Department of Health or eligibility for registration.
  • Preferred membership in the Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Interest in geriatric rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver ongoing therapy to clients promptly as per physician directives.
  • Communicate client progress within the agency.
  • Evaluate and treat clients, liaising with families, physicians, and other healthcare team members while maintaining accurate service documentation.
  • Develop effective treatment plans based on physician requests and secure approval for services.
  • Initiate prescribed treatments and keep the physician informed about client progress.
  • Ensure proper documentation in compliance with state, federal, and third-party payer regulations.
  • Adhere to the Speech-Language Pathology Practice Act in the state.
  • Perform additional duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.

Preferred Experience

At least one year of experience working with adults and children with neurological disorders, including language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing.

Education Requirements

A master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.

Licenses & Certifications

Required: Speech Therapist license.
