Compensation

  • $95,000-$115,000 annually (DOE and credential)
  • Full-Time -205-day work year
  • Signing Bonus - $5,000

About the Role

Capitol Academy and Capitol Elementary are respected Non-Public Schools (NPS) serving students with diverse learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. We are seeking a fulltime Speech Therapist to join our studentcentered, collaborative team. Capitol Academy and Capitol Elementary serve students with diverse learning, behavioral, and communication needs. The Speech Therapist works closely with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support students' communication development and overall academic success.

What You'll Do

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (EIPs)
  • Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and measurable IEP goals that support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and required compliance records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and other service providers
  • Support students in developing communication skills, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills
  • Create a positive, engaging therapy environment that promotes student growth and confidence

Requirements / Qualifications

  •  Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  •  Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License
  •  ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  •  Clinical Fellows (CF) welcome to apply
  •  Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
  •  Strong collaboration and communication skills
