Speech Therapist

26-27 Part-Time Speech Therapist:

Cinnaminson Township is searching for a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill a part-time position as a Speech Language Pathologist. This is a tenure-track position for three days a week working with students in both our Middle and High Schools.

This position requires a calm and patient person who is a certified Speech Pathologist and ready to diagnose and treat students who suffer from stutters, as well as vocal and cognitive communication impairments. The person must also be ready to help students whose speech is affected by emotional issues, various learning disabilities and physical impairments in a small group setting on individualized instruction.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and diagnose disorders of speech and language upon referral from Early Intervention and/or classroom teacher.
• Collaboratively prepare current speech and language PLAAFP and goals for students' Individual Educational Plans.
• Administer appropriate therapy to aid in acquisition and improvement of receptive and expressive language skills.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other related service personnel.
