Spin/ Creel Operator

Overview

Join our dynamic production team where you'll play a vital role in operating machinery and maintaining the efficiency of our production line. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to safety and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate can-lifters and forklifts to transport empty and full cans.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance machine efficiency, improve quality, and reduce waste.
• Accurately and efficiently perform data entry tasks.
• Manage creeling and decreeling of cans in the Stretch Line area.
• Complete production sheets and doff cans as required.
• Maintain and replace can-lifter batteries as needed.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in spin and stretch operations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Follow quality procedures to meet customer product standards.

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating can-lifters and forklifts.
• Ability to read, write, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Competency in basic mathematical calculations.
• Experience in operating hoists for transporting batteries.
• Basic computer skills for data entry tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
