Qualifications:We enthusiastically welcome individuals of all backgrounds and abilities, who have specific ministry experience or education, completed at least (1) one unit from a Clinical Pastoral Education program, or currently enrolled in an educational program with a focus on spiritual and/or emotional care of others. All Spiritual Care Extenders will be required to complete the 48-hour Pastoral Care Education program through the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education, or have at least one (1) unit of Clinical Pastoral Education, and complete the training program provided by the USA Health Spiritual Care Manager. Hours will vary based on the needs of the department and availability of the Extender Volunteer. All USA Health Volunteers must successfully complete a criminal background check.
