Akkodis is seeking an Splunk Engineer for a Contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ/ Tampa FL/Tempe AZ. You will design and optimize SIEM/SOAR solutions while developing advanced Splunk dashboards and reports.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Splunk Engineer job responsibilities include:
Develop and optimize Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts to support security monitoring and operational insights.
Implement and manage SIEM/SOAR solutions (Splunk, Elastic, Datadog, Cribl) for threat detection and incident response.
Integrate and maintain data pipelines with Data Lake and data warehouse platforms such as AWS S3, Snowflake, and Databricks.
Automate workflows and tasks using scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Ansible to improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulations (MITRE ATT&CK, CIS) while operating in hybrid-cloud environments.
Troubleshoot complex networking and system issues leveraging strong knowledge of TCP/IP and modern security principles.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum 8+ years in technology with hands-on Splunk development experience.
Strong expertise in SIEM/SOAR platforms such as Splunk, Elastic, Datadog, and Cribl.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Ansible) for automation and integration tasks.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
