Position Overview:The Sports & Fitness Assistantsupports the delivery of structured sports and physical activity programs for youth participants. Reporting to the Sports & Fitness Director, this role assists in planning and facilitating activities that promote physical health, teamwork, and skill development. The position plays a key role in ensuring a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children and teens. This role is ideal for individuals who are energetic, dependable, and passionate about youth development through sports and fitness.
Key Responsibilities:Supervise youth participants during sports and fitness activities to ensure safety and well-being.
Assist in organizing and implementing structured sports programs and events.
Teach and demonstrate fundamental skills in sports such as basketball, soccer, flag football, and tennis.
Lead drills, exercises, and group activities to build coordination, teamwork, and confidence.
Support the Sports & Fitness Director with daily program operations and activity planning.
Encourage participation and foster a positive, inclusive environment for all youth.
Monitor behavior and promote good sportsmanship among participants.
Maintain equipment and ensure activity spaces are safe and organized.
