Sports Coach

Want to be a part of something that is much bigger than yourself?  Would you like to give back to your community?  Are you interested in helping a child learn and participate in sports that they otherwise may not have the opportunity to try? This may be your opportunity!  The YMCA of Northwest Florida is seeking YSports coaches for our Afterschool Sports program at schools throughout Escambia County. This is a part-time, 20-25 hr/week position. Hours on-site are 1:00 to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. A level 2 background and drug screen are required, as well as a willingness to obtain a CPR/1st Aid certification and any additional training. (provided and paid for by the YMCA). Experience working with elementary school-age children, knowledge of the basic rules of basketball, flag football, volleyball, soccer, kickball, and previous coaching experience are a plus.  English and Spanish-speaking individuals needed.
