What You'll Do:
The individual in this position is responsible for providing food and beverage to guests in a quick, efficient, and courteous manner as well as have some basic culinary skills. Performs responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
What You'll Bring:

- Welcome and connect with every customer. Discovers customers needs and appropriately suggests product to enhance service and meet sales goals.
- Be familiar with the menu and the preparation of menu items.
- Take guests orders and accurately input them into the computer/register.
- Complete assigned side work and any additional tasks.
- Ability to properly balance cash drawer.
- Must be able to handle all cash transactions including credit cards, comps, promotions, coupons, discounts, and player points.
- Prepare beverage and food of the highest quality by following standards of service for the Grab and Go.
- Operate cash register and handles money.
- Clean and maintain the appearance of all merchandise and customer areas.
- Respond to customer inquiries and their requests.
- Learn and demonstrate creating the Spokane Tribe Casino experience.
- Must be able to multitask and assist customers swiftly and efficiently.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and problem solve.
- Report to supervisor or manager any customer complaints or issues.
- Monitor stock and communicate with supervisor.
- Secures the outlet for Opening and Closing.
- Communicates guest opportunities and situations to management or relief personnel
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must have ability to:
- Use all equipment associated with the position, including but not limited to cash register, and computer keyboard.
- Communicate effectively always, with customers as well as all levels of employees.
- Effectively and efficiently move around work area.
- Review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
- Inspect and maintain areas for which responsible, as well as ability to distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change.
- Perform several different duties including, but not limited to; lifting, pushing carrying, and pulling loads up to 50 pounds.
- Walk, squat, stand, and twist to be able to lift, load, and unload items.
- Operate in a working environment that is subject to varying levels of crowds and noise, the severity of which depends upon customer volume.
- Perform other tasks assigned.
Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities:
- Basic math skills.
- Verbal communication and customer service skills required.
- Prior money handling skills, computer skills, required.
- Must be knowledgeable in areas regarding operation of Commercial Espresso machines, cooking equipment and have a basic working knowledge of beverages.
- These skills and abilities are typically acquired through completion of a high school degree or equivalent, as well as through two months of on-the-job training or equivalent experience.
- Must be able to obtain required food handlers’ certifications.
- Strong guest service and problem-solving skills.
- Able to Multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels
Gaming License Required? Ability to secure and maintain STATE OR TRIBAL Gaming License.
