Position Overview:

The Office of Athletics Communications is seeking candidates for Sports Information Student Workers. Student workers will assist the Athletics Communications office in fulfilling game day responsibilities such as statistics, live streaming, photography, social media, and others in addition to learning about the behind-the-scenes work that goes into collegiate athletic contests. Sports Information student workers may also have the opportunity to assist with larger department-wide projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Statistics Input and tracking
  • Scoreboard operation
  • Camera and webcast operation
  • Marketing, social media, and promotions for game days
  • Photography and video for games and special events

Learning Objectives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of sports and sports statistics
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • A desire to learn about working in sports
