Sports Medicine Assistant - Flexible Shift Options! (80542)

The Sports Medicine Assistant will provide athletic training services at assigned location(s) according to professional practice standards. This role is designed to protect the health and safety of the athlete and to provide appropriate medical care by functioning within the level of their medical education training when dealing with: First aid, Triage; Return to Play/Action decisions. The person in this position will work under the direction of the lead athletic trainer, Medical Director, and Director of Nursing at Lake Region Healthcare. The Sports Medicine Assistant will provide appropriate bracing and taping, injury evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and assessment of athletic injuries within scope of practice or as directed.

Hours/Shifts

Flexible shift options and FTEs including full-time or part-time, with varied shifts. Please state your FTE preference and shift availability in your application.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $20.09-$51.22/hour. The following ranges will apply based on qualifications:

• Paramedic: $26.89-$36.16/hour
• EMT: $20.09-$27.02/hour
• Physical Therapist: $41.18-$51.22/hour
• Occupational Therapist: $35.26-$48.36/hour
• Registered Nurse: $31.72-$46.43/hour

Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.

• Registered Nurse - With TNCC, ATCN, or PHTLS certification preferred.

This position requires current Healthcare Provider level/AED CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within 6 months. Must be able to attend the work site per schedule.
