We are seeking a Sports Mental Performance Coach who is passionate about supporting the mental health and performance of athletes. This role provides evidence-based, goal-oriented care through individualized and group educational sessions. Services may be delivered both on-site and via telemedicine to best meet the needs of the athletes we serve.
Support: Sports Medicine department includes Board Certified Sports Medicine physicians, Certified Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, Nutritionist, and significant administration support
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Sport Psychology or a closely related field
- PhD or PsyD (preferred)
- Current state licensure as needed or indicated by degree (or license-eligible)
- Training in sport/performance psychology.
- Experience working with professional athletes and teams (preferred).
- Experience working with medical professionals on a consistent basis (preferred).
- Maintains up to date knowledge of theories and practices in the field of Sport Psychology.
- Willingness to obtain Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC)
- CMPC (preferred)
