Description

The Fox West YMCA is hiring a Sports & Recreation Coordinator for our Greenville, WI branch. At Fox West, our Sports & Recreation Coordinator provides safe, healthy and engaging athletic and summer camp programs for participants of all ages. The Coordinator is key in developing the talents of staff and volunteers within the department. Share your passion for sports, fitness and athletics, and most importantly fun, to create successful sport leagues and classes for our community.

This is a full-time career that will keep you moving, both indoors & out, with a flexible schedule that typically includes evenings and weekends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working with school age children is preferred but not required.
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred, preferably in a sports & recreation environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal & customer service skills including a high-level of written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task within busy work environment.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proven ability to establish favorable relationships with community organizations.
