Job Summary: Seeking a passionate "hunter" for business development targeting D1, D2, and D3 universities and professional sports teams. You will drive high-volume cold calls from an existing list, develop proposals, and engage VP/Director-level customers. Position is 100% onsite and local to the SVP's area. Salary starts at $55,000/year with conversion to commission after 3 months. Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive proposals for prospective customers, typically valued at $50K–$300K. Create marketing and social media communications targeting colleges and universities. Interact with existing customers, including catalog distribution accounts, dealers, franchises, and digital print clients. Travel nationwide as approved by VP Sales to visit potential customers, confirm venue measurements, and conduct cold calls in surrounding areas (limited; 1–2 days per trip). Attend and participate in industry trade shows (about 4 per year). Requirements and Skills: Technical Skills: Experience in Salesforce for business development is a plus. Experience in QuickBooks for quotes and enterprise actions is a plus. Functional Skills: Strong understanding that D1 schools have higher sports budgets than D2 and D3. Proven experience in high-volume cold calling from existing lists. Experience speaking with VP and Director-level customers. Ability to develop proposals and marketing/social media programs for targeted audiences. Behavioral Skills: "Fire in their belly" passion for sports; lifelong sports fan preferred to connect with customers. Highly disciplined and self-motivated. Other Details: 100% onsite; must be local to SVP. Minimal travel overall. Salary: $55,000/year initially; converts to commission structure after 3 months.M
