Position Overview

We are seeking Spot Welders to join a manufacturing team in Aberdeen, NC. This position is responsible for operating spot-welding equipment to join metal components while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in spot welding, resistance welding, metal fabrication, assembly, or other hands-on manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate spot-welding/resistance-welding equipment
• Position and align metal components for welding
• Follow work orders, drawings, and production specifications
• Adjust welding equipment and settings as required
• Inspect welded components for quality and proper alignment
• Identify weld defects and make necessary adjustments
• Use hand tools and basic measuring equipment
• Maintain consistent production output
• Follow established safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Perform other production duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous spot welding or manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with welding equipment, metal fabrication, or production assembly is a plus
• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive work
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Tape Measure Reading
• Welding Setups for Production
• Blueprint Reading
