Pay: $18.00–$21.00/hour DOE
Shift: Day Shift | Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (4-day work week)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Spot Welder to join a growing metal fabrication team in Salt Lake City. This position is responsible for producing high-quality welded components by following production specifications, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe work environment. The ideal candidate has previous spot welding experience, a strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot welding operations on metal components according to production specifications.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production drawings as needed.
• Set up and operate spot welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect finished products to ensure weld quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and maintain quality control throughout production.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Work closely with team members to meet daily production schedules and quality expectations.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous spot welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and production drawings is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools, measuring devices, and basic fabrication equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
