About the Role:
The Spot Welder is responsible for performing resistance spot welding operations to assemble metal components in a production environment. This role focuses on accuracy, consistency, and meeting quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform spot welding operations on metal parts and assemblies
Set up and adjust welding equipment for production runs
Inspect welded components for quality and defects
Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
Maintain equipment and ensure safe operation
Meet production quotas and quality standards
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in spot welding or manufacturing
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Knowledge of welding safety and procedures
Strong attention to detail
Desired Qualifications:
Welding certification
Experience in automotive or metal fabrication
Familiarity with quality inspection tools
