Job Summary:
Applying fertilizer and pesticides to turf and shrubs, recognizing and diagnosing issues with turf and ornamentals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
High School or GED
Experience
Prior fertilization, turf and ornamentals experience required
Licensure, Certification, and/or
Registration
Valid Florida Driver's License
Other
• Must be able to work flexible hours
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to perform duties that required a great deal of bending.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn, use of tools, equipment and supplies relative to irrigation services.

• Identification and treatment of weeds and pests, fertilization, of turf and ornamentals.
• Diagnosing pests
• Using current methods and best management practices to treat and control pests.
• Maintaining spray equipment and turf
