Project Background
BPC’s J. Ronald Terwilliger Center for Housing Policy was launched to support bipartisan policies that help realize the goal of a decent, safe, and affordable home for every American family. BPC’s housing team informs and engages policymakers through in-depth and timely research, virtual and in-person events, technical assistance, and more.

Responsibilities
The intern will work with Center staff on writing and research, event planning, tracking news and congressional activity, blogging, and communications activities. Specific responsibilities will be determined based on the successful candidate’s interests and the needs of the projects. In addition to housing-related work, the intern may be asked to assist with relevant projects on disaster response and transportation/infrastructure policy.

Qualifications

Must be an enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate school
Strong research and writing skills
Efficient worker with ability to multi-task
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Strong interest in housing policy, as well as economic, finance, and community development issues

SPRING PROGRAM

BPC has a robust spring internship program. Interns work full time, and will receive a $3,000 stipend for ten weeks of work. Interns must be rising juniors or above.Applicants must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate program or a recent graduate. Interns will provide functional support, conduct research, and work directly with project analysts and staff in various capacities.
