In the role of Environmental Services Supervisor, you will supervise and coordinate the staff and daily operations of the Environmental Services Department.   Further, you will implement established policies and procedures as they pertain to Environmental Sanitation. Job Responsibilities Include:

• Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines and evaluates the performance of staff. Ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner.
• Prioritizes, schedules, assigns and monitors work to optimize operational service.
• Analyzes, recommends, implements and monitors approved work-flow changes.
• Receives special work assignments from management, as needed.
• Ensures adequate inventory of supplies. 
• Oversees supply maintenance.  Reviews stock levels in storage area as to established par levels. Requests and picks-up needed supplies weekly from main storage area.
• Evaluates and recommends related products and equipment.
• Provides safety instruction related to the use of products, equipment and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) references
• Addresses the needs of special groups, hearing impaired, physically challenged and various issues relating to the hospital and facility.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Minimum of three (3) year progressive supervisory experience in Environmental Services, required.  Previous hospital environment services experience, required.
