SQ NA Platform Coordinator

Accountabilities and Decision Making: Supports SCRUM teams. Ensures that all tracking tools are updated weekly and assure proper communication within PDP and SQE Commodity Specialists. Support new product management activities (PIR, Early Warning, CRB) as wellas current product management activities (CPM) to achieve supplier corrective actions. Monitors the effective application of SQ methodology and enforce project standards (i.e WCM application). Assist in return parts analysis from the field. Coordinates SQE Specialist activities supporting different Platforms and Strategic Sourcing Team. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Effectively applies SQE Methodology and enforces project standards. Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. Acting with Purchasing and platform about sourcing strategies and their implementation process definition, particularly on initial assessment (PSA Potential Supplier Assessment) and ensure that suppliers meet requirements for APQP (Advance Product Quality Planning) and Part Approval Process. Support current product quality management activities, assure proper non conformity containment tools application and corrective actions to achieve stable supplier conformity. Grant extensive and deep usage of problem solving techniques at suppliers. Support suppliers and engineering/quality team in developing technical solutions to fix quality/product issues in field and/or during development process.

Position Dimensions: Coordinator position within SQE network. Responsible for supporting SCRUM teams.

Typical Decisions Made: SQ NA Platform Coordinator defines priorities for Part Approval Activities, Supplier corrective Actions to be followed by SQE Specialist and Supplier's Development activities. The approach, method and processes to be using during corrective action, development and launch activities of Platforms.

Education/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferable Mechanical, Manufacturing or Quality engineering. Essential experience and skills: 6-8 years of working experience in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Quality with solid experience in international environments. Leadership, work-ethics, confidentiality, capable to structure problems and deliver even with a vague brief and limited guidance, ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and to work independently. Solid knowledge of related quality tools (APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PCPA/PSA, (Process control plan audit/ Potential Supplier Assessment), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), etc.), international standards, international Agency standards (ISO). Problem solving techniques (8D, Ishikawa, pareto diagram etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Electrical or Hydraulic skill/experience in Problem Solving, 8D/Kaizen reporting. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
