Expertise in T-SQL (queries, stored procedures, triggers)

Performance tuning & query optimization

Backup, restore, HA/DR

Modern Skills (Must-Have in Today's Market)

Cloud DBA experience (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Basic DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, Git)

Automation scripting (PowerShell / Python)

Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes – good to have)

Nice to Have

Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra)

Data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift)

Monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk)
