ShortList is looking for a SQL Developer to maintain data systems for a leading not-for-profit in Columbia, SC. The SQL Developer will work as part of a growing data team to administrate and maintain the core SQL platform. This role would suit someone with 5+ years of SQL and T-SQL experience. The role is hybrid with four days per week in office in central Columbia.
Key Responsibilities for the SQL Developer role:
- Develop and maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and tables
- Administer SQL Server security, user roles, and permissions
- Create, schedule, and monitor SQL Server Agent jobs
- Collaborate on reporting and analytics logic using T-SQL
- Support and enhance ETL workflows
- Proactively monitor data jobs and ensure workflow continuity
Key skills for the SQL Developer role
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in SQL development
- Knowledge of ETL concepts, Data Automation and Python
- Familiarity with Azure SQL is a plus
- Experience working with complex API's, especially AI integration
