SQL Engineer

Job Title: SQL Engineer (3 5 Years Experience)

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled SQL Engineer with 3 5 years of experience in database development, optimization, and data management. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL programming skills and experience working with relational databases to support business applications and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.

• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL databases.

• Analyze and improve database performance through query tuning and indexing.

• Support ETL processes and data integration activities.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across databases.

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.

• Monitor database health and resolve performance or data-related issues.

• Create and maintain database documentation and technical specifications.

Required Skills:

• 3 5 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.

• Strong knowledge of SQL programming, joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, and stored procedures.

• Experience in query optimization and performance tuning.

• Understanding of database design, normalization, and indexing.

• Familiarity with ETL tools or scripting (SSIS, Python, or Shell scripting is a plus).

• Experience with version control tools such as Git is preferred.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3 5 years of relevant experience as an SQL Engineer, SQL Developer, or Database Developer.
