Help Launch Squash Tigers' Newest Program

An exciting opportunity exists to become the inaugural Lead Squash Professional at Squash Tigers' newest location, based at Kingswood Oxford School in Hartford, Connecticut.

You won't be stepping into an existing program or replacing another coach. You'll be the first coach at our Connecticut location and will help establish Squash Tigers from day one. From your first week, you'll be coaching players, building relationships with local families, growing participation, and helping create a program the community is proud to be part of.

You'll have the support of an established and growing organization while enjoying the freedom to help shape our newest location.

About Squash Tigers

Squash Tigers is one of the fastest-growing junior squash programs in the United States, with established programs in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and an expanding presence across the Northeast.

Each year, hundreds of junior players participate in our squads, camps, tournaments, and private coaching.

We care about producing better players, but we care just as much about developing confident, respectful young people. We expect our coaches to challenge players, support them, and create an environment that players genuinely enjoy being part of.

The Role

As the Lead Squash Professional, you'll be responsible for establishing and growing the Squash Tigers program at Kingswood Oxford School.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering private lessons and junior group coaching.
• Growing participation through local outreach and relationship building.
• Organising clinics, camps, leagues, and special events.
• Supporting players at local and regional tournaments.
• Developing a small but growing adult squash community through private lessons, clinics, and leagues.
• Working closely with the local community and the Squash Tigers leadership team to build a successful long-term program.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys being on court but also wants to help build a thriving squash community.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. However, we also welcome applications from outstanding international candidates and may be able to provide visa sponsorship where appropriate.
