Position Overview

Our manufacturing client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join their on-site accounting team. This role will play a key part in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and financial reporting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with SAGE and manufacturing accounting is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Support cost accounting processes, including inventory valuation and analysis
• Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and adjustments
• Utilize SAGE for daily accounting operations, reporting, and analysis
• Partner with operations and finance leadership on budgeting and forecasting activities
• Support internal and external audits as needed
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
• SAGE experience is required
• Strong inventory management and cost accounting experience
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work fully on-site in a collaborative team setting
