About the Opportunity
We are a well-established organization within a complex, multi-entity environment seeking a Senior Accountant to play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and profitability.
This position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Leadership, while owning key accounting processes and contributing to strategic financial decision-making.
Position Overview
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing core accounting functions, including month-end close, cost tracking, inventory accounting, and financial reporting. This role ensures accuracy, transparency, and strong internal controls across all financial activities.
You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial data while supporting audits, reporting, and operational performance tracking.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Lead month-end close processes, including accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and reporting
- Generate financial reports and provide insights for management
Cost Accounting & Analysis
- Track, analyze, and monitor costs against financial models
- Identify variances and ensure proper cost allocation across business units
- Support profitability analysis and financial decision-making
Inventory & Reconciliation
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliations and ensure accurate valuation
- Maintain integrity of balance sheet inputs related to inventory and cost components
Controls & Compliance
- Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Support external audit processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with teams across Finance, Operations, and Leadership
- Support KPI reporting and financial performance tracking
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and governance processes

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 8+ years of general accounting experience
- Strong experience with inventory accounting
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- CPA designation
- Experience in complex, multi-entity environments
- Exposure to regulated or product-based industries
