Job Details

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the Accounting Manager with month-end close activities, financial analysis, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. This role requires strong full-cycle accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, growth-oriented healthcare environment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the month-end and quarter-end close process to ensure accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial results
  • Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements
  • Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepare month-end accruals and supporting analyses to identify missing or misclassified expenses
  • Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate reporting under cash and accrual accounting frameworks
  • Audit and tax preparation
  • Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification is strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Proficiency in journal entries, variance analysis, and assisting with audits
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and other applicable accounting standards and regulations6. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaning insight
