In this role, you will work closely with the Staff Accountants, Accounts Receivable Clerks, Cash Management, and Accounts Payable Clerks to support the daily operations of the Finance Department.\ Responsibilities\ Prepares assigned reconciliations and other supporting documents.\ Prepares necessary close entries.\ Provides backup for data entry (invoice creation, credits and rebills, and cash application) in Accounts Receivable.\ Assists in bank reconciliation and cash management.\ Assists in cash forecasting.\ Assists in loan document preparation.\ May be required to perform other duties as assigned. #### Responsibilities - The Senior Accounting Clerk is responsible for assisting with monthly account reconciliations and accounts receivable duties - In this role, you will work closely with the Staff Accountants, Accounts Receivable Clerks, Cash Management, and Accounts Payable Clerks to support the daily operations of the Finance Department - Prepares assigned reconciliations and other supporting documents - Prepares necessary close entries - Provides backup for data entry (invoice creation, credits and rebills, and cash application) in Accounts Receivable - Assists in bank reconciliation and cash management - Assists in cash forecasting - Assists in loan document preparation - May be required to perform other duties as assigned - Sedentary work - Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time - Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met - The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes
