Job Summary:
Senior Accounting Consultants are seasoned, subject matter experts who apply specialized knowledge in matters that require special interpretation or expertise. Incumbents use their discipline-specific and/or institutional knowledge to perform Corporate Accounting and Reporting department activities. They participate in and/or lead critical, high-risk, complex initiatives, programs and projects, have frequent contact with internal and external business partners, facilitate/ influence strategic thinking and direction and influence peers and leaders across the organization to act on issues that have organization-wide impact. The Senior Accounting Consultant in this role may specialize in accounting topics such as joint ventures, leases, member rewards, capitalized software, Statutory accounting and reporting requirements, or other topics as assigned. However, the team members must be flexible as assignments are reallocated based on growth and business needs.
Essential Functions:
Required Experience:
6+ years related work experience. Experience Details: Experience in Financial Reporting, Experience with financial systems applications to include General ledger, communication/negotiation skills, Proven analytical skills, Must be a team player with the ability to be self-motivated, Results oriented and Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Bachelor's degree required Accounting or Finance
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or Master's in Accounting, CPA, Working knowledge of insurance accounting and statutory reporting, Experience in Hyperion Ecosystem, Public accounting experience and Experience leading a team of professionals
General Physical Demands:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Annualized Salary Range: $109,300 - $177,600
Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $109,300 - $136,600
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
