Description

Position: Sr. Accounting Technician ARAgency: NH Liquor CommissionLocation: 50 Storrs St. Concord, NHSalary: $17.81/hourOverviewTo monitor the establishment and maintenance of payment sources for the New Hampshire Liquor Commission including investigating issues and implementing solutions while following all NHLC rules and policies.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, collect, analyze, upload, and review financial reports and NH Treasury bank reports regarding accounts receivable to General Ledger; research and resolve variances.Prepare and reconcile revenue funds ensuring funds are posted to the correct revenue source.Investigate licensee finance and payment related questions; develop and implement solutions; educate customers on the cash/credit management program.Review and resolve store inquiries regarding daily store financials and customer payments.Maintain the office petty cash and revolving fund; prepare and disburse checks; account for general ledger entries; prepare paperwork for petty cash replenishment; reconcile monthly bank statement for the revolving fund account.Provide guidance and cross‑functional support to NHLC Accounts Receivable staff.Develop and maintain procedural documents for own position per guidelines and procedures.Perform ad‑hoc tasks such as research, analysis, and reconciliation; assist in preparing ad‑hoc reports.Treat all customers with courtesy, respect, and professionalism.QualificationsEquivalent combination of 2 years of education and experience after high school in accounting.License/Certification: None.Other Requirements: None.Preferred QualificationsNot applicable.After‑Hire RequirementsNone.Career Advancement OpportunitiesIn-Band Advancement Available: No. Broad Group Level Advancement Available: No.DisclaimersThe supplemental job description lists the essential functions of the position and may not include every duty.
