The Sr. Activities (Vitality) Coordinator at Fairfield Village in Layton develops and implements evidence-based, person-centered activity programs designed to address the physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual needs of the residents. Includes planning of special events, group and individual activities, and utilizing community resources as part of the comprehensive Vitalty program for all the residents of the unit. Incorporate Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Requirements:

  • You must have a TRT license or obtain within 90 days of employment (community will cover the cost to obtain, if needed)
  • Minimum 2-year related experience in activities and/or wellness with older adults.
  • Conduct resident interviews, complete assessments, and implement care plans to address residents' person-centered recreation needs.
  • Complete all required documentation, including resident assessments, care plans, attendance, and progress notes, promptly. 
  • You must have a TRT license or be willing to get one.  
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient

Wages: $19 - $24 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

  • Full-time, Mondays through Fridays, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Occasional evenings & weekend shifts for special events
  • 8 hours a day, day shift
