About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Sr Advanced Manufacturing/Production Operator to support the assembly, fabrication, inspection, and testing of electronic and mechanical systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing professional with experience building complex assemblies, cables, harnesses, and prototype hardware in a production or pre-production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, fabrication, inspection, and testing of electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
  • Build and integrate hardware for prototypes, assemblies, and complex systems
  • Assemble modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, cables, and harnesses
  • Build RF and multi-function cables and perform soldering of ribbon and strip-line assemblies
  • Load and configure customer and standard software onto devices
  • Perform fabrication, marking, and production support activities
  • Conduct inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing process enhancements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Accurately document manufacturing activities and production results

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant manufacturing or production experience
  • Associate degree or manufacturing-related certification preferred
  • Experience assembling and integrating electronic and mechanical systems
  • Ability to perform advanced software loading and device configuration
  • Strong fabrication, inspection, and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of statistics and Statistical Process Control (SPC) applications
  • Strong computer and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Clearance Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Confidential Security Clearance
