In this capacity, you'll take the lead in examining and documenting measurements of critical aerospace parts. You'll ensure that every product aligns with detailed blueprints and customer-set standards. The role accommodates both early and late shifts, with a 15% additional pay for those on the second shift.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections, including initial sample evaluations.
- Accurately document measurements following process documentation, inspection forms, and technical blueprints.
- Verify process compliance certifications.
- Perform both visual and measurement-based inspections.
- Utilize micrometers, calipers, gauges, and related equipment for precise inspections.
- Address and solve customer-related issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot technical challenges.
- Operate autonomously with sound judgment as well as collaboratively in team settings.
Qualifications:
- A degree in engineering or a related technical field, or commensurate experience.
- At least five years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience with major clients like GE Aviation and Raytheon Technologies is essential.
- Proficient in creating and interpreting FAI and PPAP reports, as well as ECAV documentation.
- Acquainted with supplier platforms of GE Aviation and Raytheon Technologies.
- Knowledgeable about flight safety and related component protocols.
- Strong IT skills related to precision measurement and quality assurance systems.
- Awareness of export regulations including DFAR and ITAR.
- Skilled in using microscopic tools or loupes.
- Familiar with IPC standards 610/J-STD; awareness of IPC 620 is beneficial.
