Job Summary

Western Midstream is hiring an Air Quality Professional in Longmont, Colorado on our Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security (HSE&S) Team. The selected candidate will support a variety of air quality related programs, which may include: air permitting in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming; Title V reporting; NSPS and NESHAP reporting; and greenhouse gas reporting.

Qualifications

Four years of experience completing the following work: preparing and submitting air permit applications; preparing and submitting air compliance reports to agencies; and supporting air compliance projects with the utilization of the ACTS database (relevant experience must include writing queries in SQL

Knowledge and experience of the oil and gas midstream sector

Knowledge and experience with Colorado, Wyoming and federal air quality permitting and compliance requirements

Broad knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and regulations as they apply to oil and natural gas operations

Be motivated with the ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities

Must communicate effectively with engineering and operations technical staff, legal counsel, and regulatory agency personnel

Proficient technical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with Intelex Asset and Compliance Tracking System (ACTS) database is preferred but not required

Preferred candidates will have knowledge and experience building, improving, and implementing programs for NSPS compliance, state emissions inventories, and greenhouse gas emissions reporting.

Education

A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Environmental Science, Engineering, Science or industry-related field. Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience.

License / Certifications

A valid drivers license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required.

Travel Requirements

The percentage of travel required for this position is 10-20%.

Work Schedule

This position follows a hybrid schedule working in-office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and working remote Wednesday and Friday. Working hours are nine hours per day Monday through Thursday, and four hours per day on Fridays.

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $87,600 - $123,200; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, this position is eligible to participate in the Western Midstream Cash Bonus Program, plus offers a competitive benefits package that emphasizes pay-for-performance compensation, work/life balance, premium health benefits, and a top-tier savings plan.
