5 yeas of relevant analog circuit design experience powering up devices such as FPGAs, CPLD (complex programmable logic device) and other components on board.
Experience Designing 48V DC/DC conversion circuits that generate multiple power supply voltages
OrCAD or other
Experience with Power sub-systems design highly desired
Responsibilities:
Design the 48V DC/DC conversion circuits to generate multiple power supply voltages which will then be used to power circuits on the board.
Design the Module DUT Programmable Power Supplies. Using existing ASICs
Design and oversee the overall module power distribution including powering up devices such as FPGAs, CPLD and other components on board.
Guide the power PCB lay-out to ensure design rules are met.
Design circuits to aid with the modules test to include power and thermal monitoring.
Responsible for turning on the first prototype and ensuring the design works and meets the requirements.
