This role/position ensures effective implementation and execution of the Kraft Heinz Supplier Quality Management System across an assigned ingredient or packaging category. The position provides visible quality leadership ensuring that KHC supplier quality standards are understood and met through on-site assessments as well as desk top audit as determined by the Kraft Heinz supplier management policy.  This position also ensures that best practices are replicated across the category.  This position requires travel between 50 - 70%.

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Sr. Analyst, Quality will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing product quality and process efficiency across Kraft Foods Group Brands LLC. This position involves leading quality initiatives, ensuring compliance with established standards, and driving continuous improvement through robust analysis and corrective actions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) processes, including investigation, documentation, implementation, and verification of effectiveness.
  • Develop, maintain, and review critical quality Documentations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Implement and monitor Preventive Action strategies to proactively address potential quality issues and minimize risks.
  • Establish and maintain effective Process Control measures to ensure product consistency and adherence to specifications.
  • Identify opportunities for and lead Process Improvements initiatives, utilizing data analysis and quality tools to optimize operational efficiency and product quality.
  • Oversee and perform Quality Assurance (QA) activities, including audits, inspections, and system reviews to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
  • Conduct thorough Quality Control (QC) checks and analyses, ensuring products meet defined quality attributes and standards.
  • Participate in and contribute to Risk Management activities, identifying potential quality risks, assessing their impact, and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Perform comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for quality deviations and non-conformances, developing effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to monitor process performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for process optimization.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field (e.g., Food Science, Engineering, Chemistry).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Proven expertise in Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Strong understanding and practical application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other quality improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with process documentation, control, and improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with relevant quality standards and regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$89,800.00 - $112,200.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
